Chase’n Fish is an annual fishing tournament held in honor of Chase Herman Lamkin, a child who entered this world at 1:23am on October 7, 2017 as one of God’s precious angels. He weighed 1 lb 12 oz and was 13 inches long. The cause of Chase’s death is still unknown.
Our hope for this tournament is to help raise awareness of the struggles parents face with the untimely death of an infant, as well as to highlight the work of the organization Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS), a non-profit photography organization that provides free portrait sessions to families experiencing such a loss. For further information on the mission and vision of NILMDTS, please refer to the organization’s website.
